Company Mission CSU creates and supports computer software for the long-term care, skilled care, assisted living, residential care, and rehabilitation industries. The software enables facilities to use computer technology to process billing and essential accounting transactions, meet current documentation requirements and manage resident care outcomes. CSU keeps abreast of industry-specific factors which mandate software changes, responds quickly with product updates and enhancements, and provides outstanding on-going training, continuing education, and support services.
History CSU, founded in 1988, was the response to regional demand for good computer consultation services including programming and custom on-site training. CSU has assisted a national electronic forms supplier in the development of MDS 2.0 RAP forms for laser printers. As it enters its twentieth year in business, CSU has retired its original long-term care clinical software, Medical Records Solution™, and replaced it with Dextrosity® Suite, a robust and integrated Windows® based system.
Client Base CSU's Dextrosity® Suite is licensed across the United States, including nearly 50% of the long-term care facilities in CSU's home
state of Iowa. In addition to nursing facilities, CSU clients include assisted living programs, hospital-based skilled nursing units, transitional care units, rehabilitation facilities, MR/MI/DD intermediate care and residential care facilities.
